Can anyone do a via ferrata?

Basically, almost anyone can do a via ferrata! There are some important points to bear in mind, including basic physical fitness, no fear of heights, basic climbing skills, proper equipment, knowledge of weather conditions and adherence to safety rules. Before tackling a via ferrata, it is advisable to find out about the difficulty level and conditions of the via ferrata.

Can I borrow hiking stretchers?

Yes, in our sports store in Lofer we offer hiking stretchers both for purchase and for hire. You have the option of reserving the hiking stretcher in advance online or directly on site. Book your hiking stretcher now!

How much does via ferrata equipment cost per day?

Via ferrata equipment costs from 21.00 euros per day in our rental shop. If you are often out and about on via ferratas, you also have the option of buying complete equipment from our sports store. Our team will be happy to help you choose.

Is there via ferrata equipment for children?

Yes, we also offer via ferrata equipment for children of a certain size. Our team in the sports store in the center of Lofer will be happy to help you make the right choice.
